Eleven-hour rough-cut. No problem. (Gulp.)

I'm a month behind schedule, but in a lot of ways I feel great about it. I finally blocked in all the content into a messy, disgusting eleven-hour rough-cut monstrosity.

"You're not going to make me watch an eleven-hour documentary, are you?" cringed my husband.

"F**k no," I replied, equally appalled.

I feel great, because eleven hours means I managed to already cut out ~15 hours of footage. There are some great stories that won't make it to the final cut, and I'm already sad about those. But the final sum of the parts will be stronger for it. My goal is still an hour (between 50 and 80 minutes). I got this.
